THE GOOD FIGHT

Where Game Over, his half-sister, is flighty and frightful, The Good Fight is bombproof and lazy. The dark bay colt is a tough nut, always sleeping when he isn't working. He will fall fast asleep on his side in the middle of the pasture while the other colts and fillies run around like maniacs. A proverbial bomb could drop and wouldn't wake the handsome horse. When he is awake, Fig is the most irritable horse in the row. He likes people well enough, but if another horse so much as dare look in his direction, Fig is likely to blow. He cannot stand being around other horses, having others look at him. The staff isn't quite sure if the colt is fearful of other horses or if he is just being a pain in the butt. It's likely the latter of the two because that odd reaction simply disappears when he hits the track.
LEG TYPE: MID PACK
At the track, Fig will instantly become a different type of animal. He simply will puff his chest out and for the first time actually acknowledge his competition. He has an impressive frame from his papa to be super intimidating when he wants to be. He snorts and throws his hooves, eyes going wild as though he can't wait to mess someone up. With the starters, the colt is a big baby and he will calm right down, allow them to shower him with affection. He relaxes right down in the gate, stands still as a stone and will break fast when the doors pop. He isn't as quick as other sprinters, which isn't a horrible thing in a field of hotheads. Fig will settle down about mid-pack, prefers to be in the two path or outside and is not particularly fond of the rail. He'll make an impressive move on the turn, pouncing on the leaders decisively. If challenged, the colt works hard to put away the enemy and he cannot be whipped. Whipping will cause this horse to balk and give up. He simply hates to be hit and therefore, no one rides with a whip aboard this horse. He simply works his hardest with a calm rider and a team effort.
