Frank is...well...Frank. At first glance, you wouldn't expect this horse to be the way he is - he's built like a tank and runs like one too. Frank has a kind eye and a heart of gold, but isn't the brightest around the farm - he's the type of colt who is afraid of his own shadow, and chooses to get himself into less than ideal situations very easily. If he could jump into his human's lap when scared, he totally would. He views humans as his safety blanket, and often turns to them when he needs direction. Frank always looks at us quizzically, asking what his next task shall be and performs it without hesitation. He was an extremely easy horse to train, other than the fact he would try and take off if he thought something was chasing him (it was the wind dude...). During turnout, he'll buck and spin and play around for the first 5 minutes, but seems to settle down to graze until it's time for him to come inside. Very much a people person, Frank doesn't act stupid or aggressive when he has visitors, or even around the backstretch at the track when there is a lot of commotion. Putting his full trust in humans in situations where he cannot avoid certain things is what makes this horse pretty special to have around the farm.
LEG TYPE: PACE PRESSER
It's all smooth sailing from here once Fantasma hits the dirt. His attitude shifts, his mind becomes focused and he's roaring to go straight from the beginning. His jockey hardly has any problems getting this horse to listen, as his stride is so adjustable and elastic once he's off and running. Running near the rail is where Fantasma likes to stay, breathing down the front horses. He puts the pressure on where it needs to be, forcing his opponents to set hot fractions while he cruises comfortably beside them. Frank always has an extra source of gas in the tank when he hits the final turn, letting the front runners burn out as he kicks home. By the time the closers get their kick, Frank is surging ahead without a glance behind him.
